More details on the brutal murder of a mother of two – Criminal

Jealousy homicide is the most likely cause of death of a 28-year-old woman from Padarsko village in Plovdiv. The search for her lasted 12 hours. Preliminary investigations have been launched against the only suspect at the time of her: her husband.

A colleague of the murdered woman said her backpack and shoes were found abandoned in a well. The 28-year-old woman’s brother-in-law said her husband pulled a knife in front of her work.

The mayor of the village, Maria Petkova, said the victim had not filed a complaint.

“The probable motive for committing the crime is jealousy,” said Plovdiv District Prosecutor Vanya Hristova.

Supervising prosecutor Dimitar Molev added that there is currently no evidence of an accomplice and that police have not received any reports from the murdered woman.

Her husband collaborated in the investigation, from whom they have been separated for about a year.

“Precisely due to the fact that they have been separated for more than a year, and in the light of the data he provided on this matter, we can convey the motive for committing the serious criminal offense, namely jealousy,” said Dimitar Molev.

The Plovdiv District Prosecutor’s Office will file a request for the toughest measure against the accused on Wednesday.
