It has been known for quite some time that a new part in the BioShock series is in development. Officially nothing is known about the new game, but it seems that the time of rumors has really arrived. That’s how one popped up mysterious website that appears to be BioShock related. Shortly after reported We know that the new installment may be called BioShock: Isolation, set in a dystopian city and set to be unveiled in Q1 2022.
Now possible details of the new BioShock have surfaced again. The details were shared by journalist Colin Moriarty in a video. Moriarty shared more information about the game’s setting. According to him, the next BioShock is set in a fictional Antarctic city in the 1960s. The city would be called Borealis. Moriarty also states that the story will be connected to that from previous parts. Finally, Moriarty announces that the new BioShock is planned to be released sometime in 2022.
It is of course difficult to verify whether Moriarty’s information is correct. What makes it more believable is that both Eurogamer as Video Games Chronicle reports that it has heard the same information from its own sources.
