More corona infections registered in the Main-Kinzig district




(pm/ea) – In the Main-Kinzig district, the incidence of infection with the corona virus has increased somewhat, as in the previous week. The value of the seven-day incidence determined by the Office for Health and Emergency Prevention of the Main-Kinzig district is 187 (previous week: 151).

The number of people who tested positive for the corona virus has increased accordingly and there are 79 people in the Covid wards (previous week: 70). Of these, two people are being treated in intensive care and one person needs technical support for ventilation. The total number of coronavirus infections detected since the beginning of the pandemic is 205,532 (February 23). A total of 1087 people from the Main-Kinzig district died in connection with Covid-19. The Office for Health and Hazard Prevention continues to refer to the corresponding vaccinations: The new vaccines for booster vaccinations, adapted to the Omikron variants, are also available without an appointment in the three vaccination centers in Hanau, Gelnhausen and Schluechtern. The following opening hours apply: In Hanau on Wednesdays from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and on Thursdays from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1.15 p.m. to 6 p.m. In Gelnhausen it is open on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. and on Thursdays from 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 1.15 p.m. to 6 p.m. In Schluechtern, vaccinations take place on Tuesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
