Buedingen (red). The presentation of the prize for the traditional Büdinger Christmas lottery took place on the premises of Intersport Hugel on Wednesday, the trade and tourism association reports in a press release. The winners were determined one day before Christmas Eve from approximately 8,000 Christmas lots submitted under the supervision of solicitor and notary Richard Trunk.
The coveted Christmas cards were given away to customers in participating shops during the four weeks of Advent or could be purchased at the trade and tourism association’s stand on the magic of Christmas. All proceeds benefit the financing and beautification of the Büdingen Christmas lights. All winners were delighted with their additional Christmas presents. For the first time, all winners came from the wider Büdingen community and for the first time two winners had the same surname. An original Weber grille worth 1050 euros (sponsored by Bauzentrum Eichhorn) went to Iris Euler from Rohrbach. Gaby Sacher from Büdingen was delighted with an exercise bike worth 500 euros (donated by Intersport Hugel). Roswitha Euler from Büdingen won housing vouchers from the trade association worth 250 euros.
Board member Stephan Hugel and Sabine Kraft-Marhenke from the advertising circle congratulated all winners. “We would like to take this opportunity to thank all customers and guests of Büdingen for participating in the Christmas lottery and for their solidarity and loyalty this year. We wish you happiness, health and, above all, peace in the new year.«
The trade association intends to set positive trends with many initiatives and campaigns in the coming year, concludes the release. PHOTO: HILLS
