After a month of silence on social media, Teigen shared a letter of apology on Monday. “Not a day goes by that I don’t feel like I’m being crushed with regret. I was just a troll. And I’m sorry.”

entertainment">Not long after, Costello, a former Project Runway participant, shared his story. He says that in 2014 a picture was shared on social media of a racist statement he is said to have made. That later turned out to be photoshopped and removed by Instagram. The fashion designer shows with screenshots that he has approached Teigen several times by DM to explain that the post was fake. She sent him messages saying, among other things: “Racist people like you deserve to suffer and die.” and “Your career is over, mind you.”

entertainment">According to Costello, Teigen and her friend and stylist Monica Rose went to great lengths to strip him of all his chores. They allegedly threatened fashion industry people and brands that if they didn’t break with Costello, Teigen and Rose would stop working with them. The fashion designer says he suffered mentally from being “targeted by Hollywood’s powerful elite,” even having suicidal thoughts from the bullying.
