More Bolivian organizations join in support of the Government

Groups related to other social blocks also joined the walk that began in that southwestern region, upon arrival in the La Paz town of Patacamaya, highlighted the president of the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS), Evo Morales.

The political leader affirmed in the reception that these groups will exchange with the nuclei added to the mobilization, such as the Federation of Mining Cooperatives, neighborhood councils, unions and other sectors, according to the Bolivian Information Agency.

The population marches in unity to defend the democratic and cultural revolution led by President Luis Arce and Vice President David Choquehuanca, said the indigenous leader.

All the organizations allied to the Government march together, said Morales, amid acclamations from marchers and neighbors, national flags and signs of the wiphala of the native peoples, accompanied by typical music and dances from the highlands.

According to the MAS leader, together with these institutions “the people protect the democratic and cultural revolution.”

Morales challenged recent actions against the executive led by Arce, called by the opposition, which he stressed “only serves to harm the family and personal economy.”

The right-wing stressed that it is trying to destabilize the country by means of forced stoppages with a view to reissuing a military coup like the one in 2019, “because they will never be able to achieve an electoral victory to come to power.”

As they failed that year with the coup, they later claimed that Arce won by fraud, when in reality he won with more than 55 percent of the vote, the former Bolivian president stressed.

Morales urged social organizations to maintain their cohesion, “because the unity of the people is always the defeat of the right and of US policies,” he said.
