What is the film about?
Wade Wilson is no longer Deadpool. Instead, he tries to find his way in civilian life. It’s not really working out, and when his loved ones are threatened, the quick-witted superhero has to slip back into the suit and comment on his fights. Only this time he’s not alone, because Wolverine comes to his aid, quite unwillingly.
If you are not yet familiar with the Deadpool & Wolverine universe, my colleague Teresa Fongern from kino.de has answered the most pressing questions:
From what age is the film suitable?
The film has been given an FSK 16 rating and that is absolutely justified. With older children or partners and friends, you can experience an action-packed evening at the cinema with lots of humor, but also a lot of splatter. Because, as in all Deadpool films, it will be damn bloody and brutal.

If you like cool sayings, hard action, are a fan of the extraordinary (anti)hero and want to have a really good time, then you can’t miss this film.

This is what I think of the film
Action, splatter and a deeper meaning
Sure, we all know and love Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s also clear that this cinematic adventure is not for the faint-hearted. There’s a lot of blood and the action is of the violent variety. We know and like that from previous Deadpool films.
But there is also a deeper meaning behind all the super funny and definitely not child-friendly banter: the search for a place in life. And this topic plays a really big role in Deadpool & Wolverine. Emma Corrin, who plays the “evil” Cassandra really brilliantly and terrifyingly, summed it up phenomenally during the press conference and watching it confirmed it for me again.
But the search for meaning never comes across as tear-jerking or boring. I promise you will have a lot of fun and leave the cinema (a film like this MUST be seen in the cinema) with a big grin on your face.
