BARNEVELD
The municipality of Barneveld wants to pay more attention to tackling domestic violence and child abuse in the coming period. For example, there must be ‘attention officers’ at all schools to receive signals and there will be a congress for professionals.
The key is that signs of domestic violence and child abuse are recognized more quickly and that action is then taken. It had previously been agreed that at least one trained attention officer would be appointed at every Barneveld school, but so far this has only been the case at 17 of the 34 schools.
