Deputy Regent of Klaten, Yoga Hardaya, said that schools and families must be moral strongholds so that the nation’s future generations are protected from deviant sexual behavior such as LGBT. So it can prevent the transmission of HIV/AIDS among young people.
Yoga said this in his speech when opening a workshop to welcome World AIDS Day which is celebrated on December 1. This workshop was held by the Klaten Regency Government (Pemkab) together with the Klaten Regency AIDS Control Commission (KPA) at Pendapa, Klaten Regency, Friday (24/11).
“I hope that schools and families can become a moral fortress so that the nation’s future generations are protected from this behavior. In this way, it is hoped that there will be no more anomalous behavior in social life, such as LGBT,” said Yoga.
Yoga explained that currently young people as the nation’s successors must be given as much knowledge and information as possible about matters that lead to the spread and transmission of HIV/AIDS, including LGBT behavior.

According to Yoga, it is important to provide knowledge to the nation’s next generation about HIV/AIDS, so that it can end the spread of this virus for which there is no cure, especially in the Klaten Regency area.
“I hope that through this activity, more and more people will know and understand HIV/AIDS and participate actively in preventing and ending its spread,” he said.
For information, the workshop which was attended by high school students and equivalents and representatives of schools throughout Klaten Regency took the theme “Protect the Nation’s Children from the Influence of LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender)”. This activity was held as part of the HIV/AIDS Free Klaten movement “Moving Together to End AIDS 2030”.
This workshop was filled with knowledge about HIV/AIDS from Bagas Waras Regional Hospital and prevention of LGBT behavior by the Secretary of KPA Klaten, Dr. Ronnt Roekmitto, M.Kes
