HILVERSUM – A mistake by the government has caused a lot of confusion at swimming schools. Where the government initially stated that swimming lessons for children up to the age of 12 could continue, it was abruptly decided on Wednesday afternoon that it was a matter of miscommunication and swimming pools should still be closed completely. Some swimming schools were then allowed to open on Thursday in consultation with their safety regions, but were still given the order to close the swimming pool in the afternoon.
