Montreal | Racist messages found in the locker rooms of Notre-Dame Hospital

After the contemptuous attitude of the nursing staff towards Native women at the Joliette CLSC, racist messages were found in the locker rooms of the staff at Notre-Dame Hospital in Montreal.

The messages asked some staff to return to their countries.

We could also read this on a table: “the block is made a monkey cage”.

The spokesperson for the management, Jean-Nicolas Aubé, as well as the president of the nurses’ union, Françoise Ramel, denounced this gesture.

Messages have already been deleted and support has been offered to team members.
