A whirlwind visit from our photographer on Tuesday allowed us to see that the various outdoor concert spaces at the Montreal Jazz Festival are ready to welcome festival-goers.

Between June 29 and July 8, two-thirds of the FIJM’s more than 350 concerts will be presented free of charge on one of the outdoor stages. We can notably see Thundercat (July 5), Jean-Michel Blais (July 3), Badbadnotgood (July 7) and a concert celebrating the 50e hip hop birthday (1is July) on the big main stage of the festival.

On the first evening, Rémi Cormier, Danielle Ponder, KOKOROKO, Ibrahim Maalouf, Christone Kingfish Ingram and Djely Tapa will have the honor of opening the festivities on one of the six outdoor stages.
