Montreal (Canada), uA large police operation is underway at one of the buildings in Ubisoft, a French company that produces video games of the series Assassin’s Creed e Watch Dogs, with images showing in addition to several heavily armed agents also dozens of people on the roof of the building. The Canadian broadcaster CBC reports. The people on the roof suggest, according to some sources, the possibility of a hold of hostages in progress. The police, however, do not confirm the hostage taking and with a tweet warn that they are evacuating the building. The Montreal police, in fact, wrote on their Twitter profile that “no threats have been identified at the moment” at the Ubisoft building. “We are evacuating the building,” it reads. Local media initially spoke of a possible hostage-taking.

The developments
Many policemen are near the Ubisoft headquarters: the agents have isolated the section of Saint-Laurent, St. between Maguire and Saint-Viateur. Ubisoft was recently the subject of a wave of accusations from the movement MeToo.
Ashraf Ismail, creative director of the video game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, was fired last August following an internal investigation. Other executives have also been accused of sexual harassment and forced to resign.

Covid Veneto, bulletin: 3,605 new infections. Luca Zaia: “No happy hour at midday”. The ordinance
On the emergency “I ask all Venetians to grit their teeth, to respect the new restrictions. The sense of yesterday’s ordinance is not to find the loophole for happy hour at noon”.
