HOCKEY. The Montreal East Rangers once again had the upper hand over the Inouk on Saturday evening, winning 3-2 at the Michel-Normandin arena.
After defeating the Inouk 5-3 on Friday evening, the Rangers did the same thing again 24 hours later. It was a goal from Gabriel Pelchat with less than six minutes to play in the 3rd period that made the difference.
The Inouk led 2-1 after two periods thanks to goals from David Côté and Éloi Robert, but everything changed in the last third as Montreal-East capitalized twice.
For this second match of the season, the net was entrusted to Emmanuel Pépin. The new goaltender of the Inouk did not do badly in the circumstances by rejecting 27 of the 30 shots aimed at him.
