Montreal (AP) – The Montreal Canadiens have managed to postpone the decision about the championship in the North American ice hockey league NHL.

After three defeats in a row, they were under a lot of pressure, but in the end they prevailed 3: 2 after extra time – and thus reduced the best-of-seven series against Tampa Bay Lightning to 1: 3.
The Canadian dream of another NHL title lives on, as the record champions last celebrated in 1993. Since then, no team from the motherland of ice hockey has won the Stanley Cup.
Josh Anderson, who was called up by interim coach Dominique Ducharme in a new row, was the decisive man in game four. He scored 1-0 in the first third and made it clear the home win in the fourth minute of extra time. Rookie Alexander Romanow also scored his first playoff goal, and Carey Price made a decent game between the posts with 32 saves. Barclay Goodrow and Patrick Maroon scored the goals for the guests who now have the next chance to defend their title on Thursday night at home.
