La Nuit du Droit, created on 4 October 2017 at the national level by the President of the Constitutional Council, Laurent Fabius, to celebrate the anniversary of the Constitution of the VAnd République, is organized for the first time in Montpellier by the joint legal and judicial professions. Hand in hand, they decided to take the opportunity to bring the legal and judicial community closer to the general public, while in general people who enter a court never do so lightly. This event, which will take place at the Montpellier Court of Appeal, will focus on the history of freedom of expression.
