This week, Montpellier organise the 3rd vintage weekend of Sundays in Peyrou. On the famous Montpellier promenade, amateurs and nostalgic for decades past (including the still very much courted 60s, 70s and 80s) will be able to find “an atmosphere reflecting a joyous era, with a selection of neo-retro objects reminiscent of the wind of freedom which blew during this period ”, specify the organizers.
Pop colors, inimitable styles
For bargain hunters, there will be a choice: 70 exhibitors (antique dealers and second-hand dealers) will offer vinyls, clothes, crockery, comics, lighting, furniture from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s… Heaven for those looking for pop colors and inimitable styles.
Snacks and taverns will be set up on site, with organic Stretto, La perle foodtruck, mobile Empanadas Japon and Luigi burger.

A special program this Sunday July 25
On Sunday, free artistic and cultural activities will be offered to families by the Petite Académie. Parents and children will be able to participate in four-handed painting workshops around the masterpiece Le Chat Noir by Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, and the vintage theme. For an hour and a half, the animators will offer discussions, an awareness of the technique used by the artist and the creation of a four-handed work that the children will take home (access to these workshops will be without registration, subject to availability, at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.).
