Let yourself be told about Montpellier and Africa, by Martine Sawada Rives, African storyteller and a guide-lecturer from Montpellier. Together they will transport you between African tales and Montpellier stories in gardens and parks in the city center, but also new places such as the cloisters of the Agora, and the faculty of medicine. Told in the purest tradition of African orality, open and tolerant in the purest Montpellier tradition.

Flowers at NAMQUALAND – Young audience workshop

With Diané, author of the series of books for young audiences “Les Floralées”, let yourself be told in the Kamishibai way the African tale that takes you to meet Nama, a “Floralée” who dreams of making a desert in which he lives flourish. .
Together set off to discover Namaqualand, region of South Africa and Namibia.
At the end of the story, each child can try their hand at making a collage inspired by this desert.
