The mayor, Michael Delafosseannounced, via a press release, this Saturday 5 August, the ban from the controversial comedian’s show Dieudonne which was to be held 18 august next.
This decision comes in order to “ ensure respect for public order » following the many outrageous words that the artist held.
The numerous criminal convictions to which Mr. Dieudonné M’BALA M’BALA has been subject for insulting remarks, inciting racial hatred, Holocaust deniers or advocating terrorism, and their regular and repeated nature reflect a deliberate desire to disseminate a discourse affecting the respect due to the dignity of the human person and contribute to the fragmentation of national cohesion.
