In his statement, Sako said he left Montpellier after the commotion. He mentioned a sense of respect and responsibility that he didn’t need to do.

“Regarding the incident that occurred at the training center last week, and I reject all forms of responsibility, I decided, today 2/11/2023) to end cooperation with Montpellier Herault Sports Club,” he wrote.
The 33-year-old player expressed his gratitude to all parties at Montpellierexcept for the coach. Your Mamadou also closed his statement with a sarcastic sentence.
“We met as men, so leave as men. Have a happy end to the season,” he wrote.
According to the L’Equipe report, Sakho was noisy with Der Zakaria at the training ground. It all started when the French player was fouled, but the coach didn’t let him do it.
Sakho then got angry and left training. Der Zakaria reportedly scolded him, and made Sakho provoked into saying things that he rarely played. This season, the former Liverpool defender from 2013-2016 has only appeared once.
Sakho then became even more angry with the coach’s reaction, and a commotion broke out. The player who also played for Paris Saint-Germain and Crystal Palace grabbed Der Zakaria’s shirt until the coach’s necklace broke.
Another report said that Der Zakaria was made to fall down by Sakho. Two men broke up the commotion.
Your Mamadou was due to enter his final year in Montpellier. Since last summer, the club has been trying to sell the player with 29 caps for Les Bleus, but there have been no takers.
