A fire in a cellar of a residence in the Petit Bard district, Montpellier, this Tuesday evening led to numerous evacuations as a preventive measure, due to significant toxic releases in the common areas. Sdis 34 firefighters are mobilized. The fire, the origin of which is still undetermined, is under control. There would be no injuries.

An elected official and on-call executives the City of Montpellier are on site, as well as volunteers from the territorial delegation of Hérault of the French Red Cross, who distribute bottles of water to the victims, grouped together at the bottom of the residence.
