The Alife Conseil association has been working for a year to bring together service companies, construction and security with large groups.
They are thirty-four. All of them, small or medium-sized businesses recently created in the city’s political districts (particularly in La Paillade), benefit from almost-tailor-made support. “I created a device in 2019, taking inspiration from the existing one in the Paris region, led there by the entrepreneurial development agency.”
Driss El Alaoui, head of the Alife Conseil association, started from the observation that “many companies are emerging but few are sustainable and create jobs.” The fault is “a certain isolation, a lack of network and know-how to access public contracts” which lead “to as many business creations as disappearances!”
Hence the implementation, under the name “district purchase” which takes the form of concrete support. Thirty-four companies, therefore, chosen according to certain criteria: strategy and viability, number of employees, turnover, date of creation. “I have focused on companies that can offer services to large groups such as Nicollin, Montpellier Business School, Dalkia, Bouygues energy services and GRDF.”
Aid from the State, the Region and the Metropolis
Or the idea of facilitating orders to create turnover and jobs. “The Alife Conseil association does not take any remuneration for its work. In 2020 the system received aid, € 20,000 overall, from the State (via the national agency for territorial cohesion, Editor’s note), from the Region and Metropolis. The file for 2021 is ready. ”
In partnership with Face Hérault (Foundation to act against exclusion), Driss El Aloui has therefore knocked on the doors of large companies. “For example, I spoke with the purchasing manager and an integration manager at Nicollin. They will play along this year”
I have focused on companies that can offer services to large groups like Nicollin or Dalkia
The 2021 directory, listing 34 companies, offers a wide range: from Main gauche (textile printing and embroidery for companies, 80 employees) to So.Me.Rev (laying of floor and wall coverings, 15 employees) via ABPM (carpentry work, 4 employees) and Jetkodis (sale of stationery, consumables and computer equipment, 8 employees).
“All of them have a turnover of at least € 80,000. In 2021, I added construction companies because there is a demand, in particular from Dalkia and Bouygues energy services.”
“By word of mouth”
Fatima El Koraichi runs the Assala Net company which, with its four employees, offers office cleaning services. “I met Driss El Alaoui in 2008 when I created my first home help services company, elderly and dependent people. He then helped me in the process to obtain quality accreditation and find a office in La Paillade, not far from Urssaf. ”
Now launched on a second company “which is developing little by little” Fatima El Koraichi is hanging on. “I need the support of Alife Conseil, especially on the commercial aspect. For Assala Net, given the way I work, the follow-up and the training of my employees, the customers are sensitive to quality, seriously.”
Fatima El Koraichi notes, in parallel, the role “of word of mouth throughout the territory of the metropolis.” A development which should also include, in 2021, the installation of new premises in La Paillade.
