A young 18-year-old from Montpellier was injured Thursday May 27 from several stab wounds in the Pompignane district in Montpellier.
Three people from a family were brought before the major and minor prosecutor’s office in Montpellier this Saturday, May 29 after the knife attack Thursday, May 27 around 8:30 p.m., rue André Malraux in the Pompignane district in Montpellier, of a young man from 18 years old, seriously injured but whose life is no longer in danger. A 15-year-old teenager, suspected of being the perpetrator of six stab wounds, had been arrested and taken into custody the day after the events.
Three people from the same family referred to the prosecution
According to the first elements of the investigation, it would seem that the victim had come to retrieve his scooter that had been stolen from him at this address. A fight would then have broken out between the victim and the 15-year-old and would have ended in this ultra-violent scene. His mother and his older brother were also arrested. All three were presented to the prosecution on Saturday for an indictment in the context of an opening of judicial information. The investigation entrusted to the departmental security continues.
