Montech. Five great teams at Jeunes Pousses

The 4th Young Growth competition from the Olympe-de-Gouges high school in Montech kept its promises, and even went beyond what was expected by their teachers, Ms. Caroline Daldosso-Richard and Ms. Jessica Maillot, teachers of economics and management.

These Terminale STMG (management and management sciences and technologies) students had to, in small groups of 6 to 8 students, put together a file as a company or association, to chart paths and innovate in terms of actions towards physical and sporting activities in the department.

The 37 high school students had 4 days to find the subject, contact different companies, refine their file and rehearse in front of the first year students who will take over next year.

This Thursday afternoon, it was their appearance before the grand jury, Mr. Soula, principal, Mr. Le Ven, academy inspector, Ms. Laveron, regional advisor, Ms. Canetti and Mr. Vaissière from the department’s sports department, Ms. Bros from the Bouger pour s’en sort association, Ms. Garcia from the Junior Economic Chamber (JCE) and Ms. Sardeing Rodriguez, physical education teacher and bearer of Olympic laziness.

In turn, the groups presented their project for three minutes and, for 10 minutes, answered questions from the jury who deliberated for a very long time, as the projects were so interesting.

All the groups were warmly applauded by their classmates and the first year STMG students who came to support their classmates.

Éric Soula, principal of the high school, thanked and congratulated the two teachers who, every year, carry out this Young Shoots project at the high school, and of course all the high school students who stand out for their seriousness, their enthusiasm in this competition where there is nothing to gain.
