Montdidier: Loïc Guillo took the start of his 711 km challenge for Anne-Laure

It’s done. Loïc Guillo set off this morning, around 8:30 am, in Saint-Léon (Lot-et-Garonne). Originally from Montdider, the 40-year-old begins a 711 km long journey, alternating between walking and running, in order to reach Amiens. The idea is to bring hope to his cousin Anne-Laure, Amiénoise (also from Montdidier), suffering from cancer, and to raise funds for research against cancer.

Loïc Guillo’s aunt, Sylvie Pillon, who lives in Ételfay, recounts this departure (she is present in the place to encourage her nephew): “ The start took place in gray and rainy weather. It was preceded by a moving interview, video on WhatsApp, with Anne-Laure. In the program; 1h30 of running, then walk until noon. This afternoon, 20 km of walk, total 45 km. First stage in Miramont-de-Guyenne (Editor’s note Lot-et-Garonne). “
