MONTCHANIN: The Montchanin festival committee held its general meeting

This Friday, the president, Hervé BARRELLON, presented a positive 2021 report despite the difficult health constraints for everyone. The committee still managed to organize its 25th wine and cheese fair on June 13, shortly after the relaxation of health measures. The other meetings have been postponed for 2022. The festival committee was also present at the forum of associations organized by the municipality in September.
For the year 2022, the Montchanin festival committee will renew its flagship activities, LOTO (March 6), Wines and Cheeses (May 22) and Dinner Show the cruise has fun (November 26).

A new family and cultural entertainment was put on the program this year. Indeed, on Sunday May 8, the members of the committee will be offering you “Gaston’s walk”: In the form of a walk, participants (young and old) will be invited to discover Montchanin, by following a roadbook-enigma. The answers to questions about the history of Montchanin will guide them to follow the route.
Another novelty, the members are preparing an original artistic entertainment dedicated to young talents who will be able to express themselves on stage.
For the lottery on March 6, €4,000 in prize money awaits their winners.
