Montceau Hospital – Two cardiologists resign, the infarction lurks

CODEF press release.

ALERT!
Cardiology department threatened

During our conference on April 29, we had already drawn attention to the insidious determination of the GHT management to break our cardiology service while favoring that of the private hospital of Creusot by delegating a cardiologist from Chalon to ensure rhythmology consultations one day a week.
We also expressed our fear of seeing recently recruited practitioners seeking recognition elsewhere that they are denied here. Unfortunately, reality has just confirmed it since two cardiologists have just submitted their
notice of resignation. A third would consider doing so.
The Codef has just reacted by sending the email below to the management of the GHT as well as to the Director General of the ARS.

OoOoOoO

“Madam Director, Mr. Deputy Director,
We are aware of the statement made last Friday by Madame Jarrot concerning the resignation of two cardiologists. This is a logical follow-up to the denigration of the cardiology team and your statements regarding the qualifications, diplomas and procedures that you mentioned during our meeting on March 18.
We were outraged to hear you highlight the nationality of cardiologists and their EAPs, a context that you knew well when you hired them.
This situation for which you are responsible is unacceptable, shameful and we ask you to do everything to keep these two cardiologists, that is to say set up the territorial project and give meaning to their mission.
If not, with the elected officials and all the organizations that support us, we will do everything possible to denounce this maneuver of massive destruction of our cardiology service, which the population so badly needs, to restore dignity.
and the professionalism of these “foreign” doctors who help us keep our health system above water, so that the territorial project developed by the cardiologists of our GHT is applied without delay. “
