For its Christmas action, the college of the Théas Family Institute has chosen, this year, to donate its collection to the child psychiatric sector of the Montauban Hospital.
Yesterday, thanks to the families of 84 college students and three businesses (Dans ma cabane, Le Bâteau Livre and Intermarché Bouloc), 180 new toys, books and games were donated to the Hospital.
The operation, launched three weeks ago, sensitizes teenagers to solidarity and benevolence.
Sophie Potier, responsible for collection, and Laurent Pautrat, head of the establishment, have chosen to work with the senior health managers of the Fabienne Sintès and Patrick Dupont Hospital. “I work with children with psychological problems, who are the same age as you, or even who are younger. We take care of several children, who are between 6 and 18 years old,” Patrick Dupont presents to the adolescents, thanking them. establishment and its students for their mobilization.
Distribution of gifts until January 4
The distribution of educational material is done today and January 4, at the start of the holidays, for the centers which are closed for the holidays, in the different units of the department which depend on the hospital center, in particular the day hospitals of Montauban , Moissac and Castelsarrasin. “The operation will benefit children living with their families as much as those living with foster families, being in partial or specialized schooling”, explains the senior health officer. The games, toys and books will remain in the hospital units for the benefit of all and will be distributed according to age groups.
