Montauban: program of the 14th July festivities

This year, the city of Montauban offers you a beautiful program of festivities on the occasion of the celebration of the national holiday on July 14, in compliance with the health regulations.

10:30 – Patriotic ceremony in Cours Foucault with delivery of decorations followed by a parade of foot troops in avenue du 10e Dragons.

From 7.00 pm, dances and festive evenings:

– At the Cours Foucault, organized by the Quartier 13 association with the Le Paradoxe mobile disco. Possibility to eat on site.

– Place Lalaque organized by the Ça Monte en Bas association with the group les tontons jazzeurs. Possibility to eat on site.

10.45pm – Firing of the fireworks from the Pont Vieux and the Tarn. Chance to see the fire from bridges and levees. Given the health situation, compliance with the government measures currently in force will be mandatory.

Information for motorists and pedestrians

For the smooth running of the procession, parking, vehicular traffic and pedestrian traffic will be prohibited:

– From Tuesday 13 at 10 pm to Thursday 15 July at 2 am on the Quai Villebourbon and the Bridge

– Wednesday 14 July from 9:00 after the end of the event on avenue du 10ème Dragons (rue du Corps Franc Pommiès/rue Foucault section, opposite 17th RGP).

Vehicle parking will be prohibited on July 14:

– From 8am to 2am the following day throughout the Berges du Tarn car park, car park under the Pont Neuf (currently under construction), place Desnoyer and ramp from the A. Jourdain car park to place Bourdelle.

– From 2pm to 2am the following day on rue du Tescou.

The circulation of vehicles will be prohibited on July 14 from 8:00 to 2:00 the following day on the Vieux bridge and on the Villebourbon quay where the circulation of pedestrians will also be prohibited.
