If there is one meeting where the Tarn-et-Garonnais had nothing to lose, it was last night. On a copiously soggy ground, it is a mountain that the greens and blacks had to climb. In the end, they will still have shown certain things, and even compete in certain periods. The first good ammunition is to be put to the credit of the Sapiacains and Jérôme Bosviel, placed at the back for the needs of the cause, finds the sights first after a good work of his eight in front (0-3, 5th) . The start of the meeting is totally to the advantage of Stéphane Munoz’s teammates who recover all the balls, both in closed scrum and on the rucks. The blood and gold are reduced to defending but complicated, very complicated to bring a balloon slippery like a bar of soap to life, as in this beautiful movement (9th). A much more muddled second period
The second period is more difficult to restart between two teams who are fault for fault. Yet it is the greens and blacks that make an impression on a sumptuous but poorly rewarded maul. As in the first act, the USM makes doubt its host who finds himself in turn outnumbered. Despite everything, it was really hard to get carried away in a particularly muddled second half where nobody managed to do something right. If the Sapiacans try to come back to the score, the blood and are in turn looking for their third try of the game, synonymous with an offensive bonus point. This test, it is more the Catalans who are more likely to register than the visitors. Visitors who will even end the match once again outnumbered by a fault by his captain Stéphane Munoz.
