Montauban. New in the Le Bateau bookshop

Moving to the Le Bateau Livre children’s bookshop, Charlotte Dirat takes over from Patricia Matsakis, creator of the brand almost forty years ago.

A real opportunity for Montauban to keep this independent bookshop that guarantees proximity, diversity and service.

Charlotte Dirat and Olivia are two passionate booksellers who know how to identify the tastes of young readers, provide them with valuable advice and guide them to the author who will make them want to read.

“I have chosen to focus the offer on books and offer works for all ages, from conception to adulthood. We have created new departments to meet demand: manga, children’s literature for adults, comics and novels for teenagers”, says Charlotte.

“Of course we will maintain all collaborations with local cultural institutions, whether it is Lettres d’Automne, the youth book fair” Les Jolis mots de mai “, the REEL association, or schools, colleges, media libraries”, says the young woman.
