Montauban kick boxing (MKB) traveled to Paris a few days ago, to the famous Halle Carpentier, a legendary boxing venue, to compete in the finals of the French K1 light championship. Five athletes represented the club from the city of Ingres, who had previously had to win the Occitanie championships to be able to access its final stages. Tom Cribier (junior, under 69 kg) had to face three opponents to become French champion in the clearly dominated category. Federico Tessier (senior under 63 kg) also started the competition in the quarter-finals to also claim the title of French champion in pain after his knee injury. Cécilia Fenoul (senior, under 55 kg) also adorns herself with gold after three difficult fights in which she was able to seek her victories. Finally, Mélissa Mazuc-Pinge (junior, under 70 kg), and Noah Nauze (youngest, under 47 kg) narrowly lost in the first round and expect to make up for it this weekend for the final kick light phases. .
Since its creation in 2017, the MKB has already won 14 French championship titles and does not intend to stop on such a good path because already this coming weekend there are still four qualified for the final phases of the French championships. Selection. The club welcomes the selection of Aymerik Tessier (senior, under 91 kg) for the French team for the K1 and full-contact disciplines in preparation for the next World Cup. Aymerik will be present on May 7 at the gala organized by the OCKF in Montauban to face Anthony Seyve, reigning French champion in Kick and K1.
