With the project “Upcycling LiveOn the national holiday, the Montanuniversität showed how useful and creative it is to create special products from used drink cans. The aim of this campaign is to reduce resource consumption and raise awareness of sustainability and the circular economy.
The action gave rise to a concept A circular economy for visitors to the open day to experience the site for themselves and invited them to take an active part in the recycling process. The mobile process developed by the University of Montana made it possible an innovative form of recycling directly at the event site and impressively demonstrated how technology can be communicated to a wide audience in a simple and understandable way.
