The theft has occurred shortly after the store closed at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday. In a currently unclear manner the thieves broke into the store’s office and took with them a metal safe with the turnover of the last days – about BGN 60,000.
It’s spot on inspection done and witnesses were questioned. The store is located in a busy shopping area, in which there are three other similar stores and one hypermarket. Around the holidays, he was visited by many customers.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
The police directorate indicated that this year in the region there was no theft of such a large amount of money, and in previous years there have been similar thefts of sums from the turnover of hypermarkets and banks.
