Monta Strūberga has completed work on her new album “Planeta tu”, which will be released in mid-May. This week, the singer and songwriter has released a new song “We Want Too Much”.
Jānis Čubars, who has recorded all the guitar parts and sang additional vocal tracks, is the arranger and producer of Jelgavniece Monta’s upcoming album and also the song “We want too much”. “We Want Too Much” is the penultimate song on the album, and it tells of the incorrigible quality of a person to always expect something without enjoying what is here and now. It often happens to ruin what is today, so we are today! ” about the song tells Monta.
The new single stands out with Montas’ usual pleasant, velvety deep vocals, as well as the lyrical message, which can be especially perceived in the song’s lyrics video, which is created as a reflection in the photos from the beginning of the young singer’s musical journey to the present day. The video was created by Kaspars Rudzitis (“Dween Production”).
The opening ceremony of the album “Planeta Tu” is expected on May 16 at the club “St. Black & Rock Cafe Urban Stage ”, Riga. It should be recalled that Monta’s debut EP or mini-album “The Other One” was released in late 2020.
