On the eve of the release of ‘Monster Hunter Stories ™ 2: Wings of Ruin‘, the producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and the director Kenji Oguro offered an in-depth look at post-release content, including co-op featuring gameplay, a new story trailer and more.

In addition to the new story trailer that provides a final look at the gripping narrative in Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, the extensive post-launch script also detailed the challenging and rewarding final game content that awaits Monster Riders after July 9 on Nintendo Switch ™ and PC via Steam.
The first post-release update features the fan-favorite Palamute from ‘Monster Hunter Rise‘ as a mountable Monstie for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin on July 15th, while today’s show detailed five additional free updates, expected through October 2021.
Title Update 2 arrives on August 5th and introduces the golden Elder Dragon Kulve Taroth as a new co-op mission for the Monster Riders to face together. Although Kulve Taroth is not available as a mountable Monstie, his quest materials will be invaluable for creating powerful new gear. This update will also feature Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos as additional monsters.
Title Update 3 arrives in early September and features Soulseer Mizatsune, Elderfrost Gammoth and Oroshi Kirin as new Monsties! At the end of September, Title Update 4 follow in the footsteps of these exciting new Monsties with Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex. As part of this update, Kulve Taroth returns in a new high-difficulty co-op mission that offers Monster Riders the opportunity for even greater rewards.
In October, Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian appear as part of Title Update 5, which also heralds the arrival of a special mysterious monster, who will be part of a highly difficult co-op mission that provides materials for crafting incredibly powerful equipment.
During the reveal of cooperative gameplay, Tsujimoto-san and Oguro-san provided a comprehensive overview of the many ways players can collaborate on cooperative expeditions, including exploration, combat strategy creation, Monster Dens discovery, egg selection, and crafting. new and unique monsters.
The duo also sat down to share a behind-the-scenes look at how the original Monster Hunter Stories™ was first created, what they intended to accomplish with a sequel and their inspiration for new and old character designs.
While the special program offered a wealth of new information for eager fans, those interested in experiencing Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin firsthand can now enjoy a free trial on Nintendo Switch.
A free trial version for PC will be released on July 9th, along with the release of the full version of the game. Both trial versions allow you to save data transfer for the full game. In addition, Nintendo Switch players with saved data from the free trial version of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will also receive a special “Kinship Talisman” when linked to Monster Hunter Rise.
In addition to the Standard Edition MSRP $59.99 (physical and digital on Nintendo Switch), Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin also has a Deluxe digital-only edition for MSRP $69.99. The Deluxe Edition includes several cosmetic options.
Players can customize their appearance with Razewing layered armor sets and a Nergante-inspired hairstyle, use the Kuan Coat outfit to change fellow Wyverian Ena’s appearance, choose between two new outfits for pawtner Felyne Navirou, and two sets of stickers representing the various characters players encounter during their journey.
