Monomers will invest USD15 million in production line

The general manager of Venezuelan Colombo Monomers, Guillermo Rodríguez, announced that the company plans to invest close to USD15 million in the commissioning of a new production line in its agro-industrial complex located in Barranquilla.

The executive indicated that an initial investment of USD5 million is planned focused on Productive processes.

“We are going to start with a new production line and the board of directors approved it and we carried out the technical review. It is a line that does not exist in Colombia, but it is in the same sector of the fertilizers and it will be a novelty, “he added.

With this new process, the company plans to increase its workers plant which is currently close to 600 employees.

Guillermo Rodríguez also assured that the company’s revenues as of November of this year already exceed those of 2020 and that they are above a billion pesos.

“These last four months the results of the business They have been very good and we have better indicators than the last five years ”, highlighted the businessman.

It is expected that by the end of this year a good performance, which is important considering the situations that arose in the company.
