RADARDEPOK.COM – Currently, Bavarian Nordic A/S is the only company pharmacy whose monkeypox vaccine is licensed. The pharmaceutical company is preparing to produce a monkeypox vaccine which will last for 24 hours due to high demand. This is because the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared monkeypox as a global health emergency.

According to WHO data, cases of monkeypox are currently spread in 74 countries with a total of about 17,000 cases reported.

“Whatever demand we will face, we hope to fulfill it with our own resources. One very easy solution is to run our production facilities all night and recruit more people to work on shifts,” said Bavarian Nordic A/S head of investor relations, Rolf Sass Sorensen. TIMETuesday (26/07).

The Danish vaccine company, can produce 30 million doses per year and so far has not refused orders from governments of various countries.
