Are monkeypox diagnostics being developed in laboratories in Switzerland?
Large laboratories in university hospitals are preparing to carry out the analyzes themselves. Currently, in addition to the laboratory in Spiez, the National Reference Center for Emerging Viral Infections (NAVI) in Geneva can perform the analyses. Other laboratories in Bern, Zurich, Lausanne and possibly others will soon be able to do so.
