The cases studied closely
157 cases had been recorded on June 15. Extensive investigations were carried out on these patients: among them 42 traveled abroad before noticing symptoms, in Spain for half. All infected people are men.
“7 in Belgium, 5 in Germany, 3 in Portugal, 2 in the United Kingdom, 1 in the Netherlands, 2 in Denmark, 1 in Luxembourg, 1 in India, 2 in Switzerland, 1 in the United States, 2 in Mali , 1 in Colombia and 1 in Morocco”, indicates Public Health France. However, the agency warns that “these trips do not systematically constitute the origin of the contamination”.
Finally, in most cases, the symptoms seem to be the same. “77% had a genito-anal rash, 77% a rash on another part of the body, 70% a fever and 66%”, explains Public Health France.
