MonitoLatino, one of the most important charts in Latin music, has announced the second edition of the Monitor Music Awards. In this edition, the most important artists, actors, influencers and industry leaders today will be welcomed with whom it is expected to create a one-of-a-kind show.

The awards will be held on October 17 and will be produced by Emax Group in association with the UniMás de Univision network in the United States, Televisa / Telehit in Mexico, the Albavision group and Claro TV in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“This event will bring together the best artists in the industry, in a unique event of great production quality that celebrates our Latino heritage,” said Juan Carlos Hidalgo, president of MonitorLatino.
“It is a pleasure and honor to be able to bring to our audience in the United States the second edition of the Monitor Music Awards through the UniMás de Univision network. The grand event, which will air from Miami, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Mexico, is a celebration of our diversity, culture and music, ”said Ignacio Meyer, executive vice president of unscripted music and entertainment at Univision.
The Monitor Music Awards will be broadcast primarily from the Paramount World Center in Miami, Florida, as well as broadcasts from Coco Bongo in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic; at the Hyatt Grand Regency Reserve in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and in Guadalajara, Mexico.
German González, president of Emax Group Corp., affirms that the Monitor Music Awards will have a wide distribution in multiple territories, which will include the main television networks and digital platforms in the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.
For the past 18 years the MonitorLATINO platform has monitored radio lists that expand to more than 18 countries, including the United States and Latin America, becoming one of the most important playlists in the industry.
The charts have not only helped establish credibility behind top Latino hits, but have given audiences the opportunity to discover new music, helping to propel radio playlists to hits.
