The 27-year-old singer and the mother of his son announced in March that their relationship is over. Shortly afterwards André found love with influencer Sarah van Soelen.
André and Monique had been together again since February last year, after the singer had a relationship with Bridget Maasland for several months. For the past year, the two seemed happier than ever. In December, they announced that they wanted to get married.
