Singer Ieva Zasimauskaitė recently founded her own mini-hotel. “Now there is a house for couples, but it was supposed to be a man’s storeroom,” Ieva joked in “KK2 Friday”.
“I graduated from hotel business studies. A hotel for two was my old dream. In the middle of a pine forest, in a very beautiful place, we bought 5 hectares of land, we planned to build our house there. We thought that the house would be the man’s storeroom, but after building the foundation, the man proposed to make a house, very compact, very beautiful. That’s how “Trobelė Luna” was born, it’s already finished, our house and then maybe other huts are still in the plans”, Ieva revealed her business plans.

The hut was built by Ieva’s husband Sim. “He is not a builder and has not built anything, as he himself jokes, he is a priest welder. He lived in a monastery for 12 years and after leaving it, he started a career as a builder. At night he watched YouTube, and during the day he implemented what he had learned,” Ieva said about the man who, even at 25 degrees below zero, built a cabin alone in the forest and called it meditation.
Monika Kvietutte’s new business is leisure clothes. “My colleague and I didn’t find the clothes we wanted for a long time, it was too long, it was too short, it was tight, it was missing details. We sewed for ourselves and thought, maybe we can develop it into a business and, I would say, it’s not bad,” Monikita said about her own clothing line on the show.
“We create casual clothes that are beautiful and comfortable for us, without targeting designers. We generate ideas, collect materials, and leave the sewing to those who know how,” explained Monikita.

Singer Ineta Žvagulienė is building a home for the elderly. “We have a food business, a kindergarten and we are establishing a home for the elderly, I am also involved in writing, advertising, and social networks for various EU projects. We don’t rest, we work, work and guess”, – Ineta revealed the business of the active Žvaguliai family.
Ineta jokes that the old people’s home was needed to fill the free remaining time. “I lived with the idea of a retirement home for a long time and carried it with me like the idea of a kindergarten. We decided, when I saw the suitable premises, I found the building of a closed village school in Širvintos district, which I really liked. Of course, since the beginning of construction, everything has become more expensive, but we accepted a partner who joined with his own funds. I’m studying social work management in order to know how to lead the staff of the old people’s home, so that I feel strong in that place”, said Ineta Žvagulienė.
