Monica Geuze tapped on the fingers by production Temptation Island

Where the first season was talked to each other by Monica and her good friend Kaj Gorgels, this year the influencer – completely Temptation-style – strange. Kaj also presents together with Nicolette Kluijver Expeditie Robinson, and their recordings overlap.

“Of course I was very sorry that I was no longer going to do it with Kaj,” says Monica in her Videoland series. “So I was kind of like: OK, how is it going with someone else? But it’s really 100,000 percent not that bad. I’m actually just more excited, go that way and let the season begin !” And they have certainly started! Earlier this week, the first images were even shared – accidentally.

However, a few things are changing this season, Monica says. The 26-year-old confesses to having been tapped by production because her outfits were too outspoken. “It has to be a little casual chic“, she explains. “It was too much and the dress code from Temptation is more ‘summery’ now, especially not too much and little sequins and glitter.”

Although Monica does take her humor with her to the recordings: “Look, if your co-host is in a linen shirt and you are full of sequins as if you are going to do De Toppers this year, that just stands out a bit. It’s nicer to deliver bad news in a nice dress than a garbage bag.”
