“Money reaches those affected”

The Corona aid arrives in the Oldenburg district. The local members of the Bundestag Astrid Grotelüschen (CDU) and Susanne Mittag (SPD) report on this. So far, more than 47 million euros have been paid out to more than 80 applicants for the district from the Corona aid programs such as the entrepreneur loans and the quick loans.

“With the help that was once again expanded and simplified, we were also able to support those who, for example self-employed people, had to fall back on their savings,” says Grotelüschen. “Together with my parliamentary group, I have been pressing hard for better support for our SMEs. The ‘Novemberhilfe’ that has now been decided and the opening of the KfW instant loan for companies with fewer than ten employees is a necessary step, ”says Grotelüschen.

Susanne Mittag is pleased that the quick loan and the KfW entrepreneur loan in particular create scope for the self-employed. These loans would have no repayments in the first two years. In addition, KfW usually takes the entire banking risk: “This ensures that the money reaches those affected,” says Mittag with conviction.
