Money for the rehabilitation of the long pond is not enough

The rehabilitation of the Lange Leiches will be more expensive. So far, almost one million euros was planned, now it will be around 180,000 euros more. This emerges from a template for the finance committee, which will meet again on Monday.

Because the EU is funding the measure, the city still has 36,000 euros in additional costs. The civil engineering department justifies the increase with the general increase in construction costs and extra work.

The pond has already been desludged – except for a remainder. It is only disposed of after the water has been drained and the ground has been examined for weapons. Finally, the banks and paths will be renewed.
