The Ministry of the Environment supports 21 municipalities with ideas for insect protection. You will receive a total of around 430,000 euros to implement the projects. The ministry had started the competition “More nature in town and village” – the 21 municipalities prevailed. Almost 70 applied. The majority of the projects come from rural areas. One community is planning, among other things, the construction of a natural garden with a pond. Elsewhere, a farm garden, including fruit trees for snacking, is to be created on a former sports field.
