Money Confiscated by KPK at Bogor Regent OTT Rupiah Denomination, Amount is Still Counting

KPK confiscated a sum of money during a hand arrest operation (OTT) against the Regent of Bogor Ade Yasin |. The KPK said the amount in rupiah denominations was still being counted.

“In the arrest activity, money was also found in rupiah denominations, the amount of which is still being counted and confirmed again to the arrested parties,” said Acting KPK spokesman, Ali Fikri, to reporters, Wednesday (27/4/2022).

Ali said there were 12 people, including Ade Yasin |, who was arrested by the KPK. They are still being questioned in a marathon at the KPK’s Merah Putih building.

“Until now, the KPK has secured 12 people, including the Bogor Regent, several officials and ASN of the Bogor Regency Government as well as several parties from the West Java BPK Representative,” said Ali.

Ali said this case was related to allegations of bribery in the management of the Bogor Regency Government’s financial reports. However, he has not explained the total number of alleged bribes in this case.

“Currently, all parties are still conducting marathon inspections and clarifications at the KPK’s Red and White House,” said Ali.

The Bogor Regent and those arrested are still under investigation. The KPK has 1×24 hours to determine the legal status of the parties affected by the OTT.
