As part of its commitment to the well-being of its employees, Mondelez Morocco organized an innovative initiative, the “Kids Day”. This unique day allowed 110 children, aged 8 to 12, to discover the professional environment of their parents by spending half a day on the company’s premises. The objective of this approach: to demystify the work of parents, to bring children closer to the professional world and to promote the development of both.
The “Kids Day” took place on Wednesday, September 11 and was themed “Fun and Cheer, Kids Day is here!”. The children were immersed in a half-day of discovery and fun within the company. They were able to participate in various workshops, including safety awareness sessions, equipped with suitable kits, and visited the various production lines. The visit then continued with an exploration of the headquarters offices, meeting rooms, the canteen, and a relaxation area called the “Joy room” – a place usually reserved for employees for moments of relaxation.
In addition to these activities, a workshop focused on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” was organized, raising awareness among children about the importance of diversity in the school environment. This fun and educational approach was designed to provide an enriching experience while highlighting the company’s values.
Othmane Nadifi, representative of Mondelez Morocco, explains: “Through Kids Day, Mondelez Morocco seeks to respond, on the one hand, to the curiosity of its employees’ children, and on the other hand, to contribute to their development.” He is delighted with the success of the event: “We are delighted that this initiative was very well received, both by children and parents. As proof, we had more than 110 participants in the 8 to 12 age group.”
Building on the success of this first edition, the company is already planning to organize a second edition of “Kids Day” with a wider age group.
