The Colts and the Chargers wrap up Week 16 with Monday Night Football, and while it’s not the most anticipated matchup, there are still plenty of intriguing options in this single-game DFS player pool. We’re going with a heavy build of Chargers for our DraftKings Showdown roster, but we’re “captaining” a Colt and rounding things out with an Indy Value Sleeper.
Before we dive into our lineup and strategy, here are the main scoring settings for DraftKing Showdown contests: Full stitch PPR and there are Three point bonus for 300 yards passing, 100 yards rushand 100 receiving yards. Captain selection costs 1.5x the original price for a player, but also gets the points total multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Colts vs. Chargers Week 16 Monday Night Football
$50,000 budget, requires at least one player per team.
Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary): RB Deon Jackson, Colts ($11,400)
Jackson amassed 14 touches, 56 total yards and one TD last week despite the game script heavily favoring Zack Moss (24 carries). If Indianapolis falls behind early, as expected, Jackson expects to play more snaps and get more touches. This could result in a bunch of cheap catches that would be huge in DraftKings full-point PPR format. LA gives RBs the third-most DraftKings points, so Jackson should find success on the ground and in the air. He’s a nice “Captain” kingpin of the more expensive magazines.
FLEX RB Austin Ekeler, charger ($11,000)
Fading Ekeler is beyond risky, especially at DraftKings. He almost always finds a way to make at least 15 touches, and has scored in all but two of his last 11 games. Additionally, he was averaging just a hair short on seven catches per game, making him as bankable as possible regardless of the matchup. Indianapolis guarantees the RBs the seventh-most fantasy points, making Ekeler a safe bet.

FLEX QB Justin Herbert, Magazines ($10,400)
Herbert is the type of high-volume quarterback who can thrive in any matchup, so we’re not too concerned about him against Indianapolis’ 10th pass defense. He had three consecutive 300-yard strides, and while he only had two touchdowns in that span, more were to come.
FLEX WR Keenan Allen, Charger ($9,800)
In his last three games, Allen had 26 of 37 goals for 266 yards. These were all cheap matchups (Raiders, Dolphins, Titans), so he will have a harder time against an Indy defense that allows 5th down DK points for WRs. We still like his chances to rack up catches and potentially find the end zone for the third time since Week 12.
PPR RANKING WEEK 17:

FLEX Los Angeles D/ST Charger ($4,600)
No team concedes more fantasy points for D/ST than Indianapolis, and with Nick Foles now in the middle, we don’t expect a dramatic improvement. Los Angeles hasn’t been the most prolific fantasy unit, but they’ve put up a streak of four sacks and have five takeaways and a D/ST TD in their last four games. The Bolts have a lot of potential in matchups like this.
FLEX TE Jelani Woods, Hengste ($2,800)
Kylen Granson’s ankle injury opens the door for Woods to see more goals. In Week 12 he threw eight of nine looks for 98 yards, so we know he can produce when given the opportunity. LA slightly underperformed against the tight ends, so getting Woods to $2,800 is the perfect way to round out that stacked lineup.
